What I Wore: This was a day full of activities in hot Pietermaritzburg. The combination of functionality and summer feeling resulted in a fun look. The basket bag and dad shoe trend worked perfectly for stylish productiveness.
What I Wore: I went for a punkish take on a vintage inspired look. I paired my two vintage pieces, the tweed blazer and star draw-string clutch, with all black. I chose a pair of cigarette pants and chunky heels to edge it up.
What I wore: I cannot resist a vintage look, paired with a good bag and a pair of sneakers. This two piece look (a rare find), give me an old-school sophisticated feel, which worked perfectly with the contradictory accessories of the same colour palette.
What I wore: This Summer I have embraced the warmth vibrancy of chestnut tones. My entire outfit was fueled by the combination of the jumpsuit and shweshwe together. I accessorized with modern, brown detailed accessories to give it a more youthful, edgy feel.
What I wore: A simple, slightly smarter, Summer look. My main focus for Summer is breathable fabrics and versatile colour palettes. I love the formality of the pants and shirt with the lightness of the bow slides and net bag.
What I wore: Fresh summer materials accompanied by a fresh pastel summer palette. This outfit needed to be cool and comfortable in the scorching heat; but appropriate for walking long distances, which made my palladium’s a great choice.
What I wore: I edged up the typical festival jumpsuit by accessorizing with slim shades, detailed sling bag and Billie Baker hat. I wore a rough cut net top and worn timberlands to make the outfit appropriate for transitioning into the night.
What I wore: I went for a quirky street style inspired look. I let the bright straps on the tracksuit pants and the tinted glasses be the focal points. I wore an over-sized sports luxe windbreaker and tucked the pants into my palladium’s to give the outfit more of military style.
What I wore: A smart summer look; sophisticated yet fresh. I put my look together based off of my new striped shirt; formal pants and loafers finished off the refined outfit. The tinted shades added a youthful flare.
What I wore: A street style Winter look. I paired edgy pieces such as the black beanie and sneakers, with the navy velvet tracksuit and fluffy cylindrical bag. My Winter favourite has to be the transparent raincoat; keeps you dry but doesn’t hide a good outfit!
